November 25, 2020 On November 25th, Twitter user tweeted the first meme based on the intro, replacing the line with a popular quote from Season 3 Episode 1 of SpongeBob SquarePants – The Algae's Always Greener, where Plankton exclaims "I'll remember you all in therapy." The edit received over 6,800 views, 120 retweets and 580 likes but failed to immediately spark a trend. In the intro, the variable line running gag from the 1993 series is used. On the same day, YouTube user LetsPlayNintendoITA uploaded the intro from episode two of the series to the platform, where it gained over 540,000 views in two weeks (shown below). On November 20th, 2020, the first season of the 2020 animated series Animaniacs, a reboot of the 1993 series of the same name, premiered on Hulu.
